'Book of Ephesians' Bible Lessons New International Version
LESSON No.4 ~ NIV
This is the first of a two-part Lesson which covers verses 1-16 of Chapter Four of the Book of Ephesians. There are so many precious truths in the 32 verses that we have divided it into two Lessons. In it we are exhorted to walk worthy of our Christian vocation – to see the oneness of God and His calling – the Church’s ministries and benefits through Christ’s ascension – the edifying of the body unto maturity – deliverance from deceivers – the body fitting and working together. God sure has a mighty body and the glorious fact is that He has made you a part of it, even before the first time Christ ever stepped into your life! If, like Paul, we are willing to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ, we shall surely know and experience the joyous liberty of growing unto maturity in the body of Christ.

The Book of Ephesians teaches us of the greatness of the work of Jesus Christ and what He has done to make us His worthy followers. We discover that He has a call and a purpose for our lives, and He desires to use us in many wonderful ways by the power of His Holy Spirit. He has ministries and gifts that we can function in to the glory of His name. Be encouraged to discover all that God has for you as you walk with Him day by day. He can do far more in and through your life than you ever can!
When we walk with Jesus in a positive way, he can use us to make a difference in the lives of other people, so
let the Lord use you to bring His salvation and blessings to others. It is always a joy to be found serving the Lord Jesus. God Bless You!
